For campaign professionals and candidates alike, networking is essential. Sharing tips, tactics and tools of the trade with peers is often the best way to get up to date on the latest in the field and maximize one’s performance. To this end, C&E is proud to present its annual seminar, The Art of Political Campaigning.
This year, the seminar will be held June 16 to 18 at the Washington Marriott in Washington, D.C.
The conference packs almost 100 speakers into three days of intense training and networking that will prepare you to revamp your campaign strategy and leave your pockets brimming with business cards.
The conference’s first day includes a panel of experts speculating on what to expect in the 2012 election cycle as well as seminars on navigating television in the digital age, fundraising techniques, and communication for candidates and campaigns. There will also be a panel featuring the stories of candidates who overcame steep odds to win.
During the second and third days of the conference, attendees will break out into four tracks: beginner, intermediate, expert and consultant. The beginner track is designed for those considering a run for office, while the other three tracks are designed for consultants with varying levels of expertise.
The schedule, which includes seminars on GOTV, fundraising, advertising for television and the Web, building an effective website, grassroots organizing, generating donations online, texting for candidates, ethnic targeting, direct mail, speech writing, earned media, crisis management and damage control and ethics, is too jam-packed to describe in detail. For more information, check out the full schedule of events for this intensive three-day seminar.
Early bird registration runs until April 1, 2011.
