The Albright Stonebridge Group, a new global strategy firm, has been formed by a merger between Stonebridge International and the Albright Group. The group will be led by a trio of former high-level officials: former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright, former National Security Advisor Samuel R. “Sandy” Berger and former Sen. Warren Rudman. Other leadership positions include Wendy R. Sherman and H.P. Goldfield as vice chairs, former Brazil ambassador Anthony S. Harrington as CEO and Suzanne A. George, James C. O’Brien and Michael J. Warren as principals. According to the press release:
Albright Stonebridge works with businesses, associations and non-profits to help them assess and manage risk, seize opportunities, and solve commercial, political and regulatory challenges in global markets. The firm also provides clients with strategic advice, transaction support, crisis management, planning for corporate responsibility and citizenship, and analysis of privatization opportunities. Based in Washington, D.C. the Albright Stonebridge Group will have local presence in New York, Brussels, Beijing, Shanghai, New Delhi and Sao Paulo.
Aviva Gibbs has been named press secretary for Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Ill.). Gibbs is a former account executive at Resolute Consulting and executive director of the Illinois Technology Partnership, both based in Chicago, and a former chief of staff for Illinois state Rep.
