The mobile firm Revolution Messaging is expanding. The firm has brought on two new partners and is expanding its offerings with a new “Campaigns Division” headed Tim Tagaris, Sen. Chris Murphy’s (D-Conn.) former digital director.
Along with Tagaris, Revolution has also named Obama campaign veteran Arun Chaudhary partner. Chaudhary worked on the Obama digital team in 2008. He was a part of four videographers traveling with the campaign to create in-house documentaries—a role he continued into Obama’s first term.
“We’re going to be one of the few digital strategy firms to offer a full capability video team,” Chaudhary tells C&E of the firm’s expansion. Chaudhary joined Revolution Messaging early last year as senior vice president of communications.
“The company is really evolving into being a full service email communications company,” says Chaudhary. “The idea behind this entire expansion is being able to offer fundraising email, a text platform behind it and mobile video ads all in one place. We’re able to integrate it really well.”
Scott Goodstein, Revolution Messaging’s founder and CEO, said in a statement that he expects firm’s expanded ability to offer new fundraising services will enhance its other technology offerings and provide a full slate of services to clients.
