Job Description
Blake Gendebien is searching for applicants for a highly competitive, well-funded House race for the 2026 cycle. This role offers significant room for leadership and career growth over the course of the election.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with one or more cycles of experience to learn how to manage a campaign next cycle.
If you are a relentlessly positive organizer who is highly passionate about social media, this could be the perfect role for you. You will own building and maintaining political and volunteer relationships; own capturing and filming social media content; and own managing the campaign calendar and staffing the candidate.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Coordinate logistics and staff campaign events including but not limited to town halls, meet and greets, visibility actions, and some limited organizing events
- Identify and staff principal at community events
- Help build and manage off-year volunteer program
- Build and manage a large in person and remote internship program
- Be the eyes and ears of the campaign on the ground
- Manage relationships with community leaders, local organizations, community associations, and campaign partners
- Help manage the campaign schedule to maximize candidate and staff time
- Staff and drive the principal
- Complete roughly 100 calls per day to political contacts and volunteers
- Additional duties as assigned by the consultant team
Qualifications include:
- Relentless positivity and a consistent “yes and” approach
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Relentless kindness and an ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
- A valid US driver’s license and access to reliable, insured transportation
- Nice to have: Personal familiarity with NY-21
