The bipartisan firm Purple Strategies has unveiled former Rep. Tim Griffin as a senior advisor for “communications and growth strategies.”
Griffin, who is currently lieutenant governor of Arkansas, retired from the House after serving two terms. Prior to his stint in Congress, he served as a U.S. Attorney in the Bush administration and as a political advisor to the former president.
“Tim adds to an already deep bench of talent, and we are glad he chose to join Purple,” said Steve McMahon, president and CEO of Purple Strategies, in a statement. “Tim’s wide range of experience from solving complex issues in the senior ranks of Congress to serving in the U.S. Army Reserve and directing political affairs for President Bush will undoubtedly prove to be an asset for our team.”
Before seeking public office in 2010, Griffin was touted as a protégé to Karl Rove. His official title when he served in the White House was Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director in the Office of Political Affairs.
“I look forward to using my background and experience to help companies solve complex problems, grow and compete,” stated Griffin, who is based in Little Rock, Ark.
